Ruth Hoskins, Ph.D., H.H.S., LCSW, yoga instructor teaches gentle Hatha Yoga.

Hatha Yoga helps with posture, joint flexibility, muscle stretch, tone, and strength. It improves physical balance and coordination and helps regulate the nervous system. 

Practiced regularly, Hatha yoga helps with cardiac fitness and circulation.

Along with the postures, systematic relaxation and meditation improve concentration and allows the body to rest back to its natural restorative state.

Systematic Relaxation increases the quality of the breath, reduces muscular tension and increases energy.
